7 days Uganda gorilla, chimpanzee and wildlife safari :  indulge  yourself in  a 7 days  Uganda gorilla chimpanzee and wildlife safari visiting the park of bwindi impenetrable national park for a thrilling  gorilla trekking experience and later to queen Elizabeth park for a wildlife experience and to  kibale national park also know as the primates capital for chimpanzee trekking

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi

Our representative will meet you at your hotel in the morning after you have had breakfast to transfer you to Kisoro, approximately 7 hours drive with lunch and equator stopovers. Arrive at the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Clouds Mountain Gorilla lodge (luxury), Ichumbi gorilla lodge (mid range), Gorilla safari lodge (budget)

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking experience

Certainly this is one of the most exciting days of your safari. Breakfast will be served early and lunch will be packed. The briefing is at 7 am. Your guide will give you highlights of specific details about the way of life of the gorillas you will be tracking. The hike can take anything from 2-7 hours through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment.

Once you reach the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them as you stand 6 meters away. Upon completion of this magical encounter, you will drive you back to the lodge where you can relax in the afternoon or go for another walk to visit one of the communities around. Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

After early morning breakfast, meet the driver for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth park-Uganda’s second largest park. The park is 4 hours drive from Bwindi. Upon arrival at the park, drive through the Ishasha sector on a game drive and enjoy a number of wildlife including the tree climbing lions, savannah elephants, giraffes, cape buffaloes, leopards (on your lucky day) and different Antelope and bird species. Later in the evening, connect to your lodge and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya safari lodge (luxury), Park View lodge (mid range), Pumba Safari cottages (budget).

Day 4: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

You will wake up early, have breakfast and embark for a morning game drive within the park in the kisenyi region. While on the game drive, expect to see the big four game including antelopes, giraffes, warthogs and white colobus monkeys just to mention a few.

You will then return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise along Kazinga channel where you will get an opportunity to see a number of bird species, elephants and buffalos, hippos and crocodiles. Return and relax at Mweya safari lodge (Luxury), Park View Lodge (Midrange), Pumba Safari cottages (Budget) as above

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale national park

After having breakfast, you will drive out of the park and have a stopover at the equator before proceeding to Fort portal. This will take about 3 hours. Have lunch and then proceed to your lodge for relaxation as you prepare for the next day fascinating chimpanzee tracking. Dinner and overnight stay at Kyaninga lodge (luxury), Chimps Nest (mid range), Chimpanzee guest house (budget)

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking experience.

After early morning breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. This is place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees.

This primate walk will take 2-5 hours searching for the gorillas. You will spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees while taking pictures. After the activity, connect for lunch in fort portal town then proceed to the lodge for relaxation. Dinner will be served at the lodge, overnight stay at Kyaninga lodge (luxury), Chimps Nest (mid range), Chimpanzee guest house (budget) as above.

 

Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala

After having breakfast at leisure, meet the driver for a return transfer to Kampala, this will take 4-5 hours drive via Fort portal-Mubende road. arrive in Kampala and connect to Entebbe international airport to find your return flight back home.
