3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trek

3 Days Uganda gorilla trek sees you to Bwindi forest national park in south western Uganda, you will get to trek the endangered mountain gorilla species. The tour starts and ends in Kampala Uganda’s capital

Day 1: Pick-up and Transfer to Bwindi

Depending on your location in Kampala city, you will meet our company representative/guide who will then transfer to Bwindi forest. The park is located in the south western part of the country. It’s a 6 to 7 hours drive with en routes via Masaka road where you will have a stopover at the equator where you will be able to take photographs and visit the craft shop, proceed with lunch en route.

On arrival to the park in Kisoro district, you will proceed and check in your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at Clouds Mountain Gorilla lodge (luxury), Ichumbi gorilla lodge (mid range), Gorilla safari lodge (budget)

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking experience

Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by the park warden then connect to the forest to search for the gorillas. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range.

You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your ranger guide will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge for a restful evening. Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala

Wake up early and enjoy your breakfast. Later meet with the guide/driver for your long day transfer back to Kampala. This journey includes en routes. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will refresh then proceed to the airport for your return flight back home.
