Day 1: Kigali to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
In the morning after you have your test result and are ready to take on your 3 day Uganda and Rwanda safari, you will meet your driver guide at the communicated pick up place in Kigali. You will exchange your pleasantries and later set out for a Kigali city tour to visit the Kigali Genocide memorial grounds and the Kimironko market for a chance to interact with the Rwandan people.
Drive to cross to Uganda via the Katuna border. You will have an enroute lunch and connect further to your hotel arriving in the evening hours. Check in and settle in as you wait for dinner to be served. You will spend the night in the cold misty Bwindi forest National Park.

Day 2: Mountain gorilla trekking and transfer to Volcanoes national park
Wake up with a fresh breeze from the forest and prepare yourselves for the breakfast ahead of the mountain gorillas trekking. You will thereafter connect with your driver guide to drive to the park headquarters to receive the briefing before the activity of the day.
The knowledgeable ranger guides will share the expected code of conduct and what to expect on the mountain gorilla trekking and head into the forest. You will cross small rivers or hike a few high points until you meet your gorilla family of the day. You will search for about 2 to 4 hours until you meet your gorilla family of the day and enjoy the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. You will spend a good hour in the presence of the mountain gorillas and after exit the park to connect for lunch.
After lunch, you will connect for the Batwa community visit to get a treat of how the native community of the region lived and a few of their practices. The Batwa community is one of the most native communities that are still living in the old times.
Once you have exhausted the Batwa community experience, you will drive back to Rwanda leaving the Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park headed for the Volcanoes national park. You will cross via the Cyanika border to connect to your hotel in Ruhengeri. This is a 3 hour road transfer. Spend the night in Volcanoes national park Rwanda.

Day 3: Golden monkey trekking and back to Kigali
Wake up to another eventful day of golden monkey trekking. You will enjoy breakfast at your hotel and after head out to the volcanoes national park headquarters for the briefing ahead of the golden monkey trekking. You will hire the necessary equipment and enter the forest to spot these playful creatures and this will usually take a shorter time than mountain gorilla trekking before you spot them.
The golden monkeys have a bright yellow skin that makes them easy to spot though taking a photo will be abit tricky unless your camera is set on a fast shutter speed. Once you are done with the golden monkey trekking experience, you will connect to Musanze for lunch and later head out to connect to Kigali where you will be dropped at the point you will advise.
