Littering in the park is prohibited this is because the park is an eco- friendly national park that focused on sustainable tourism for not only the present generation but also for future generations which is among the reasons why dian Fossey made it a point to tackle poaching of the mountain gorillas by raiding the villages and destroying the poaching equipment of the poachers to avoid the extinctions of the gorillas in the country which is among the reasons why gorilla trekking in Rwanda, gorilla trekking in Africa is quite possible. A number of items that are littered in the park can cause accidents like choking and also contract the viruses in the park
Masks are among the main essentials items that you should carry when you visit volcanoes national park and among the regulations you should follow is to put on a mas while participating in gorilla trekking and other activities in Volcanoes national park to avoid the spread of Covid-19 to the primates in the park but also to other travellers during the activities in the park.
Fire arms and any ammunitions like pocket knives are not acceptable in the park because they pose threat to not only other trackers but also the animals in the park
Using flash mode while taking pictures of the primates and other attractions in the park should be avoided this is because the primates are vulnerable species that ca easily attack you because they are light sensitive which it is interpreted as a threat.
Avoid using noise machines to attract a number of attractions like the numerous primates to come from their hiding spots in the park which can disrupt their activities in the park.

Picking flowers and vegetation in the park should be avoided this is because picking and dropping the vegetation in the different parts of the park can lead to the invasion of primate species which can lead to the growth of invasive species in the park which can be a threat to the gorillas in the park.
