Detailed Itinerary for 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Wildlife and Uganda Primates Safari!
Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi to Maasai Mara national reserve
You will be met by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari, after the briefing you start your drive to Narok town where you will have a brief stop.
You will proceed to Maasai Mara National Reserve and later engage in an evening game drive. You will look out for wildlife species such as the African Big Five like lions, leopards, Rhinos, Elephants, Buffalos, and other game. Return back to our lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day at Maasai Mara National Reserve
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge ahead of your game-viewing activity in the open savannah plains of the reserve. You will search for a variety of wildlife species such as the big five which include lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos as well as other wildlife species such as such as giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, elands, zebras, topis among others.
You will enjoy your lunch after your morning game drive as you enjoy the beautiful scenery around the reserve and watch wildlife species grazing in the plains. After lunch, you will have another game drive in the reserve and then proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Transfer from Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park
You will have a very early breakfast and check-in from the lodge early in the morning. You will be driven out of the reserve to the border of Isebania.
You will clear from the border customs office then your guide in Tanzania will drive you to Serengeti National Park. You will have an en-route game drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Dinner will be served at your lodge.

Day 4: Full day at the Serengeti National Park
After your breakfast early at your lodge, your guide will take you on a morning game viewing experience around the vast savannah plains of Serengeti National Park where you will look for wildlife species like the big five and also wildebeests, hippos, elands, impalas, kudu, waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, giraffes and predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs among others.
You will also have lunch after your morning game drive and later engage in another game drive in the national park to search for other wildlife species and your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge and Crater Rim Walk
Breakfast will be served at your lodge as you prepare for your transfer to the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will also have a stop at Olduvai Gorge for an opportunity to learn about the historical findings of Dr Louis and Mary Leaky.
Enjoy a game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area as well as a guided walking safari on the crater rim for a chance to come up close to nature and wildlife, including giraffes! Proceed to the lodge, check in, and rest as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Drive to Arusha
After breakfast at the lodge, with a packed lunch you will descend into the crater and you will visit Lake Magadi which is found in the center of the crater. You will also search for various wildlife species such as elephants, rhinos, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras as well as flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi.
Thereafter, proceed to transfer to Arusha, check in at the hotel, and relax as wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Flight to Entebbe (Own Booking)
Your guide will drive you from your hotel in Arusha to the airport for your flight to Entebbe. On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by your guide and have a briefing after you have been briefed, you will proceed to your hotel in Entebbe where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 8: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Equator Experience
Drive Time: Approx. 9 hours. Flight Option Available
Your guide will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will have a brief stopover at the equator to take photos and later at Mbarara for lunch.
After lunch, continue to the park arriving late in the afternoon. Upon arrival, check-in at the lodge and later relax at the lodge for the evening.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi, Optional Batwa Pygmies Experience
You will have breakfast early in the morning at your lodge in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park as you prepare for your gorilla trekking activity. Your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for your briefing about the procedures and rules of the gorilla trekking activity.
After being allocated ranger guides, you will trek into the impenetrable Bwindi forest in search of the gorillas which you will spend with about 1 hour. During your gorilla trek, you will also see other primate species in the forest. You will spend approximately an hour taking photos, interacting with and admiring their wild nature before returning to your lodge. Return to the lodge and rest, or opt for a cultural tour. Dinner will be served at your hotel/lodge.

Day 10: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
Drive Time: Approx. 7 hours’ drive
After having breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on about a 7 hours drive to Kibale Forest National Park with a stopover for lunch and a visit to Amabeere caves in Fort Portal. Take a guide 30-minute hike to the caves with a stunning waterfall as the highlight of your hike. The caves hold significant historical and cultural importance to the local community and are believed to be a resting place for a long-time princess who was abandoned at the caves by her father after she got pregnant out of wedlock.
After your visit to the caves, you will drive to your lodge and later have dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Chimpanzee Trekking and Birding in Bigodi Swamp
After breakfast, drive to Kibale National Park head offices for a briefing about the chimpanzees. Enter the forest and start trekking the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, it takes 2-5 hours to find them and on finding them, you are allowed 1 hour to be in their process as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor.
Have lunch at your lodge and later in the afternoon you will head out for a birding excursion in Bigodi wetland where you will get to view a number of bird species including the prehistoric Shoebill stork, Papyrus Gonolek, and Purple-breasted Sunbird among others.
Dinner will be served at your lodge.

Day 12: Transfer Back to Entebbe and Departure
Drive Time: Approx. 5-6 hours.
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will drive you to the airport or hotel in Entebbe or Kampala which will bring your safari to an end.
