Fravan Eco Resort

Fravan Eco Resort is a mid- range accommodation situated in Musanze district, close to Vibrant Musanze City  in the North of Rwanda region. The resort is located approximately 10 minutes’ drive from Karisoke Reseach Center , 4 minutes from Musanze Caves, 12km from Volcanoes national park (home of mountain gorillas) and 43 miles from Lake Kivu. One can either be at the hotel by road transport from Kigali international airport which takes approximately 2-3 hours to drive to the park and it takes 40 minutes to fly from Kigali to the hotel  .

The resort is convenient and in an ideal place for adventure to tourists and travellers who want to Track Mountain Gorillas since the Volcanoes national park is the home of More endangered gorillas and enjoy the great views of the surrounding mountains (Karisimbi ,sabinyo etc)

Fravan eco resort is comprised of over 5 beautiful and comfortable rooms overlooking the lush green garden that reflects African traditional building style with local woods with modern comfort.  Rooms are well furnished and decorated  with private en suite facilities include; flushing toilets , hot and cold showers, mosquito nets ,hair driers , complementary bottled water, free toiletries satellites , chairs and tables etc.  Rooms have private balconies , large sitting areas  and terraces you relax while overlooking  the spectacular views  of  virunga volcanoes , lush gardens and  surrounding areas . Rooms have  excellent  facilities  with clean and  washed  beddings.  Rooms vary in different  sizes with singles beds for individuals  , doubles beds/twin  for sharing , triple /family rooms  with different cost  ranging from 250$ per person per night  and  above and  rate always go high when its peak seasons.

Meals Include; breakfast in the gardens ,lunch and  dinner in the main building served by well trained, friendly  and organized staff ,they also serve  garden diners .

Volcanoes national park is the largest and most visited national park found in the North western part of Rwanda country .The park occupies the total area of 505 square miles of rainforest and surrounded by five of   volcanoes  in  virunga  mountains namely ; Karisimbi , Bisoke , Muhabura , Gahinga and Sabinyo and  there are two active volcanoes that covers 25 miles apart namely; Mauna loa and Kilavea. Apart from volcanoes national park , Rwanda has different parks include; Nyungwe  and Akagera national park with different attractions.
