Day 1: Airport pick up and transfer to Karatu 

Upon arrival at either Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport, meet your driver and embark on your 3-4 hours’ drive to Karatu. Upon arrival in the evening, connect to your booked lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngoro Ngoro Crater Drive

After a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, connect to Ngorongoro conservation area for a full day game drive into the crater. Descent into about 600 meters in the Ngorongoro crater with en-route packed lunch. This is the world’s largest inactive caldera, which is home to numerous wildlife species as well as bird species such as flamingos, which can be seen during a safari in the crater along the shores of Lake Magadi. Enjoy seeing wildlife species such as cheetahs, lions, leopards, elephants, antelopes, giraffes, buffalos, wildebeests and many others. You will also visit Lake Magadi, which is a large but shallow alkaline lake in the south-western corner and is among the main features of the crater. You will see a large number of flamingos, hippos as well as other bird species along the lake-shores.

After the game drive, connect to your booked lodge for check-in relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above

Day 3:  Morning game drive in Lake Manyara national park – Airport drop off in Arusha

After breakfast, explore Lake Manyara national park with your packed lunch. Engage in a game drive around Lake Manyara National Park and look out for different wildlife species such as elephants, giraffes, buffalos, baboons, antelopes among others.

Thereafter, drive back to Arusha, about 2.5 hours’ drive. Upon arrival, connect to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight departing at 8 pm, which will mark the end of your safari.
